East Kalimantan Bappeda Supports Strengthening National Green Economy Analytical Instruments

Jakarta – Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province participated in the "Workshop on the Development of Analytical Instruments for the Green Economy in Indonesia" organized by the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas in collaboration with GIZ Germany. The activity, which took place on 11-12 November 2025 at the Hermitage Hotel, Jakarta, was attended by the Head of the Economic and Natural Resources Division of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Wahyu Gatut Purboyo, accompanied by the relevant technical staff, Aji Muhammad Mirman Deni Pratama. This workshop is a strategic step to strengthen the direction of green economic development within the 2025-2029 RPJMN framework and supports the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045.


For two days, the workshop focused on discussing key analytical instruments such as Green IO 0);">, and Green Economy Index (GEI) to support evidence-based policies. Mr. Wahyu Gatut Purboyo as Representative of the East Kalimantan Bappeda actively participated in thematic group discussions that identified priority sectors, including renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, ecotourism, and green industries such as electric vehicles and recycling. This session aims to harmonize methodology and implementation of analytical instruments to strengthen economic-environmental analysis at the national and regional levels.


As a follow-up, a regional meeting will be held in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, on 19 November 2025, which will specifically discuss the development of Green IO (Green IO). This series of activities will continue with a national workshop in Bali on 25-27 November 2025 to harmonize green indicators and share best practices. The presence of the East Kalimantan Bappeda in this strategic forum confirms the strong commitment of East Kalimantan Province to collaborate and integrate green economic principles in regional development planning. 0);">📝 FDS
