Central & Regional Government Coordination
Jakarta, 14/9/12. Strengthening coordination and policy synergy between the Central Government and Regional Governments must continue to be developed in the future
as a very important step strategic in increasing national development.
This was stated by the Minister of National Development Planning (PPN)/Head of Bappenas, Prof. Dr. Armida S. Alisjahbana at the opening of the 2012 Quarterly Consultation Meeting forum for Bappenas-Bappeda Provinces throughout Indonesia, which took place in the Multipurpose Room, Bappenas Building. The Quarterly Consultation Meeting which will be held today is the third consultation meeting in 2012.
"I hope that forums like this will continue to be developed in the future because they are very strategic, especially in strengthening coordination and synergy between central and regional government policies related to various development problems," said Mrs. Armida in her opening remarks. quoted from bappenas.go.id
The implementation of the 2012 Bappenas-Provincial Bappeda Quarterly Consultation Meeting with the theme "Accelerating the Implementation of Bappenas Deconcentration Funds", is expected to have a significant impact in improving Indonesia's development planning as a whole. Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Armida hopes that this consultation forum can run optimally and that there will be regional input regarding planning and efforts to accelerate the implementation of Bappenas deconstration funds for national development and regional development in the future.
Appearing as a speaker at the III Quarterly Consultation Meeting which lasted one day was the Secretary of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Main Secretary of Bappenas, Dr. Slamet Seno Adji, MA; Deputy for Facilities and Infrastructure, Dr. Ir. Dedy Supriyadi Priyatna, MSc; Deputy for Natural Resources and Environment, Dr. Ir. Endang Murniningtyas, MSc; Deputy for Human Resources and Culture, Dra. Nina Sardjunani, MA; Deputy for Poverty, Employment and Small and Medium Enterprises, Dr. Ir. Ceppie Kurniadi Sumadilaga, MA; and Main Inspector Ir. Slamet Soedarsono, MPP. Materials discussed in the third quarter consultation meeting of Bappenas-Bappeda Provinces throughout Indonesia in 2012 include:
1. Identify policies in implementing deconcentration activities;
2. Identify efforts to achieve regional targets in achieving national development;
3. Budgeting administration includes completion of DIPA, assistance in filling out RKA KL - DIPA Concept, data collection on completeness of documents, assistance with Activity Implementation Formats, coordination of activity implementation - Deconcentration Organizational Structure - Bappeda - other SKPD;
4. Reporting Format Assistance; and
5. Coordination of supervision with regional supervisors.
The objectives of the Third Quarterly Consultation Meeting of Bappenas – Bappeda throughout Indonesia include:
1. Convey the policies and contents of Bappenas deconcentration funds;
2. Carrying out explanations of budgeting administration and implementation of activities to accelerate the implementation of Bappenas deconcentration funds;
3. Provide explanations for supervision and reporting on the implementation of Bappenas deconcentration funds;
4. Identify regional activity proposals using Bappenas deconcentration funds.
Meanwhile, the East Kalimantan Bappeda was attended by the Secretary of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Ir.H.Nazrin, M.Si and the Head of Economics, Ir. Ujang Rachmad, M.Si along with several other echelon III and IV officials within the East Kalimantan Bappeda who attended the III Bappenas-Bappeda Quarterly Consultation Meeting throughout Indonesia until it was finished.
