Happy 70th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia
Samarinda, Monday 17/8/15. Head of Bappeda East Kalimantan Province, DR.Ir.H. Rusmadi, MS led the morning assembly Monday 17 August 2015 in 
to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in the parking lot of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda office Jalan Kusuma Bangsa Number 2 Samarinda.
Participants in the morning rally for the 70th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia were attended by the Secretary, all Heads of Divisions, all Heads of Sub Divisions, all Heads of Sub Divisions, all staff and all outsourced staff within the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province.
The ceremony to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia took place very wisely and smoothly from each stage to stage with ceremonial officers from the Infrastructure and Regional Development Sector, the Economic Sector and the Government and Apparatus Sector.

Thanks to the struggle and hard work of these national heroes and leaders, accompanied by the wholehearted support of all Indonesian people, today we commemorate the 70th anniversary of Indonesia's Independence. He said.
On August 17 1945, 70 years have passed, at 10.00 WIB the declaration of independence of the Republic of Indonesia was officially proclaimed by President Soekarno - Hatta on behalf of the Indonesian nation. This indicates that all Indonesian people declare that we are independent and no longer bound by colonialism from other countries.
Every August 17th, all Indonesian people always commemorate the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, always welcoming it with great joy and in all corners of the archipelago from the interior, hamlets, villages, sub-districts and urban areas, many people hold various competitions, such as areca nut climbing, cracker eating, sack run, krapiak run, pillow hitting, playing marbles, choir etc. And the most important thing is that every August 17, all Government Agencies hold a Flag Ceremony led by the Head of their respective SKPD.
