Technical Guidance on Procedures for Imposing Light Disciplinary Punishments on Civil Servants
                            
                            
                                
Head of the General Sub Division of the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Arbainsyah, SE and his staff attended the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) on Procedures for Imposing Light Disciplinary Punishments on Civil Servants (PNS) and the Socialization of Personnel Disputes at PTUN which was held at the Mercure Samarinda Hotel by the KORPRI Management Board of East Kalimantan Province, Wednesday (29/06/2022).

The meeting, which was also attended by 70 participants from the KORPRI Management of Vertical Agency Units and Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, was opened directly by Plh. Chairman of the East Kalimantan Province KORPRI Management Board, Dr. Mohammad Jauhar Efendi, M.Si..

Starting the event, he delivered instructions to all the technical guidance participants who were present.

"Technical Guidance on Procedures for Imposing Light Disciplinary Punishments on Civil Servants and Socialization of Personnel Disputes in the PTUN is important to provide understanding regarding the mechanism for imposing disciplinary penalties in accordance with applicable regulations," said Plh. Chairman of the KORPRI Management Board for East Kalimantan Province.

It was further stated that the purpose of imposing disciplinary punishments is to provide guidance and as a lesson for other civil servants.

Two resource persons were present at the technical guidance, including Mr. Sutarwo as Young Expert Personnel Analyst from BKD East Kalimantan Province and Mr. Andhy Martuaraja as Samarinda PTUN Judge.

In his explanation, Mr. Sutarwo as a Young Expert Personnel Analyst from BKD East Kalimantan Province said that the legal basis related to civil servant discipline is contained in Government Regulation (PP) Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline and Perka BKN Number 6 of 2022 concerning Implementing Regulations of PP Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline.

Further technical details are also presented regarding the mechanism and procedures for imposing light disciplinary penalties on civil servants in accordance with the applicable provisions.

On the other hand, the second resource person presented, Mr. Andhy Martuaraja as Samarinda PTUN Judge, also provided a technical and legal explanation if an Employment Dispute occurs at the PTUN.
