Regional Apparatus Forum Across Regional Apparatus DKP3A Service
As mandated in Law Number 25 of 2004 concerning the National Development Planning System which is further explained in Government Regulation Number 8 of 2008 concerning Stages, Procedures for Preparing, Controlling and Evaluation of Regional Development Plans which are Followed up by Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 86 of 2017 concerning Procedures for Planning, Controlling and Evaluation of Regional Development, Procedures for Evaluation of Draft Regional Regulations concerning Long Term Regional Development Plans and Regional Medium Term Development Plan, As well as Procedures for Changes Regional Long Term Development Plan, Regional Medium Term Development Plan, and Regional Government Work Plan.

To fulfill this mandate, Bappeda Provincial. East Kalimantan for Government and Human Development attended the 2023 Population, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DKP3A) Regional Apparatus Forum as Part of a Series of Provincial Development Planning Processes for Population, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in East Kalimantan Province.

The 2023 East Kalimantan Province DKP3A Regional Apparatus Forum event was attended by East Kalimantan Province BPKAD, East Kalimantan Province Inspectorate, East Kalimantan BKKBN, DKP3A Districts/Cities throughout East Kalimantan and all areas within the East Kalimantan Province DKP3A.

The event began with directions and remarks from the Head of DKP3A East Kalimantan Province Hj. Noryani Sorayalita., SE. MMT. In his speech, he said that the three mandates for DKP3A affairs include Population Control and Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, and Facilitation of Population Administration and Civil Registration Services. So DKP3A has various indicator achievement targets.

This requires that the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting processes be carried out carefully, precisely and responsibly as well as important issues in carrying out the duties and functions of DKP3A including Gender Mainstreaming (PUG) has not been fully implemented as a development strategy for all sectors, the provision of disaggregated data has not been maximized and the increasing number of cases of violence against women and children including TIP and the use of databases population.”

Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province as resource person for Mr. Asfiandi Zulfiar, ST., M.URP Young Expert Planner in his presentation said that the Regional Apparatus Forum is a coordination forum between development actors to discuss program priorities and development activities for each Regional Apparatus as stated in the Regional Apparatus Work Plan (Renja) and the DKP3A Regional Apparatus Forum which is implemented as a means of coordinating cooperation and Regency/City regional apparatus in order to accelerate the achievement of performance indicators in Renja 2024, Renstra, RPD 2024-2026, and RPJMD especially on achievement The RPJMD Priority Program series of activities can align programs and activities of regional apparatus with the RPJMD and Provincial and Regency/City Strategic Plans and sharpen performance indicators and targets for programs and activities of regional apparatus in accordance with the tasks and functions of regional apparatus.
