The excitement of the Dharma Wanita Ramadhan Bazaar, Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province

Samarinda, 13/6/2016. The month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings. This is exploited by Dharma Wanita Bappeda East Kalimantan Province by holding a Ramadhan Bazaar in the parking lot of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Office. "We would like to express our thanks to the Dharma Wanita Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province who was willing to take the time to carry out this Ramadhan Bazaar in addition to their duties of serving families at home," said Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, DR. H. Zairin Zain when opening the Dharma Wanita Ramadhan Bazaar Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province.

This Ramadhan Bazaar was held for two days, starting from 13-14 June 2016. The stands at the Dharma Wanita Ramadhan Bazaar, Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, among others, sold sarongs, prayer mats, Muslim clothing, batik clothing, ready-made food, pastries, basic necessities, fruit, cosmetics, bags, accessories, etc.

According to the Chair of the Dharma Wanita Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Ir. Hartami Purwaningsih held the Ramadhan Bazaar primarily aimed at increasing ties between Dharma Wanita members and employees of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda in the month of Ramadhan. Apart from that, the implementation of the Ramadhan Bazaar is seen as being able to provide added value to the work of Dharma Wanita women.

Meanwhile, several items such as basic necessities and fruit offered at the Ramadhan Bazaar are below market prices, so according to Hartami this will provide relief to buyers both from Bappeda and outside Bappeda, especially since this Bazaar is open to the public.

The woman who is familiarly called Tami admitted that Bazaar activities like this are very good for continuing to be maintained and developed. According to him, this activity can provide insight and added value for Dharma Wanita. (dy)
