Kick-off Meeting Consultation on the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) Physical Infrastructure PUPR Program for Fiscal Year 2021

Samarinda, (14/10/2020). Acting Head of Regional Infrastructure Ibnu Abbas, S.Sos, M.Si together with the Head of Subdivision of Development and Transportation, Dedy Pudja Wardana, ST and staff attended the Kick-off Meeting for Consultation on the Special Allocation Fund Program (DAK) for Physical PUPR Infrastructure for Fiscal Year 2021 virtually via the Zoom Meeting application in the Regional Infrastructure Sector Meeting Room.
Dedy conveyed that the Physical DAK allocation for Roads for the 2021 Fiscal Year for East Kalimantan Province was IDR. 120.69 billion, while for Physical DAK for Irrigation Sector it is IDR. 5.6 Billion.
The DAK policy direction in the Road Sector is improving the stable condition of roads and strengthening community connectivity in National Priority areas with the target of provincial road stability being 75% and increasing regional economic growth. Meanwhile, the policy direction for the irrigation sector is to maintain or increase the reliability of the irrigation network with a target area of irrigation rehabilitation of 298,028 Ha throughout Indonesia.
Dedy further explained that currently the 2021 Fiscal Year DAK allocation is in the process of preparing the Work Plan by each region and is being carried out online via the KRISNA application.
Regions are asked to be able to carry out early auctions for the administration of DAK distribution phase 1 so that there are no budget cuts like in 2020.
