Coordination Meeting MP3EI Corridor 3 Kalimantan

Pontianak, 11/6/13. Plt. Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province and Head of East Kalimantan Bappeda, Dr.Ir.H. Rusmadi.MS attended the meeting mp3ei_kaltim_pontianak_11_juni_13-News MP3EI Coordination (Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development) The Kalimatan Corridor in the Kapuas Palace Hotel Meeting Room, Pontianak, West Kalimantan, was attended by participants of approximately 250 people from 4 provinces, namely East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan and West Kalimantan and representatives

The implementation of the MP3EI Coordination Meeting Corridor 3 Kalimantan was led directly by the Minister of the Republic of Indonesia, H. Hatta Rajasa and was attended by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia Suswono; Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, Zulkifli Hasan; Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Evert Ernest Mangindaan and Deputy Minister of National Planning/Bappenas Dr.Ir. Lukita Dinarsyah Tuwo, MA.

The Minister of Agriculture as Coordinator of Corridor 3 Kalimantan reports the general description of MP3EI Corridor 3 followed by the progress of the implementation and strategic issue of the implementation of MP3EI Corridor 3 Kalimantan.

Strategic issues conveyed include energy limitations, infrastructure limitations, unfinished RTRWP of East Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, and Central Kalimantan and efforts to accelerate the deck of the Maloy Special Economic Zone.

Plt. Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province, Dr.Ir.H. Rusmadi.MS In the opportunity to explore a more in-depth problem, "the obstacles encountered in spurring development acceleration in East Kalimantan due to the abandonment of forest areas and limited infrastructure.

Besides that, the Ground Breaking Project-Project MP3EI East Kalimantan plan was also conveyed including railroad tracks, ITK, ISBI, Balang Island Bridge, Maratua Airport, Loa Kulu Bridge and Aji Tulur Bridge.

Dr.Ir. Rusmadi.MS also conveyed the planned inauguration of the East Kalimantan MP3EI project, namely Sepinggan Airport, Long Bawan Airport, Power Plant made from palm waste and KEK Maloy.

In connection with this, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy requested that the Provincial Government coordinate and intensive preparation so that ground breaking and inauguration can be carried out before the fasting month of 2013.
