This means that under these conditions, East Kalimantan can no longer relying on coal.”
To anticipate this, Bappeda has prepared an economic development planning document for the 2024-2026 period as a basis for navigating the regional economy. As stated in the document, the regional government's main focus is to encourage economic transformation, including manufacturing and increasing regional tourism.
Therefore, the plan to establish a regional consultation forum is very important to carry out as a commitment to gathering all aspirations from stakeholders regarding the acceleration of economic transformation.
"Therefore, in this regional consultation forum, we will discuss what are the obstacles and things that need to be addressed regarding this economic transformation. So that the target in 2045 is that the manufacturing sector dominates the business field in East Kalimantan," concluded Yusliando in his speech.
