Encourage Stunting Decreases, East Kalimantan Bappeda Holds Action Filling in Convergence Action Data
Samarinda - Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of East Kalimantan Province (East Kalimantan) held a mentoring activity for filling out the action of prevention and acceleration of stunting (PPPS) on the Bangda Action website, Thursday (9/2525). Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di Ruang Rapat Repetada Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan was led directly by the Head of Government and Human Development (PPM) of East Kalimantan Bappeda, Mispoyo, accompanied by the team leader, Angki Setyadarma. This event is a follow-up to the letter of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 400.5.7/1685/Bangda Regarding the Implementation of PPPS Convergence Actions.

This effort is important to ensure PPPS intervention is converged with target groups, such as pregnant women, children aged 0-59 months, and prospective brides.

Local governments are required to ensure targets of decreased stunting and related service achievements are included in various planning and budget documents, such as the RPJMD, RKPD, and APBD. Through accurate and integrated data filling, the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan hopes to monitor performance and optimize efforts to reduce stunting in its region. Fds
