West Kutai DPRD Studying the Mechanism for Distribution of Aid at the East Kalimantan Bappeda
Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda PPEPD Division, Alfino Rinaldi Arief, representing the Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, received a working visit from the West Kutai Regency DPRD led by the Chair of Commission I, H. Ellyson, together with 13 members and elements of the DPRD Secretariat. This visit aims to deepen understanding of the process of creating aid recipient accounts through the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) as well as the governance of distributing government aid to the community at the provincial level.
In his presentation, Alfino explained that the process of creating these accounts is the authority of the district/city government in accordance with the SIPD business process, including authorization for approval from foundations or institutions entitled to receive them. Furthermore, the discussion discussed the pattern of distribution of grants and social assistance in East Kalimantan Province which refers to East Kalimantan Governor Regulation Number 23 of 2021 as the main guideline, starting from the planning stage which is approved through the RKPD and fully entered via the SIPD application. This explanation will be valuable input for the Government and the West Kutai DPRD in the future.
Through this meeting, the West Kutai DPRD obtained a real picture of the transparent and integrated assistance mechanism in the East Kalimantan Provincial Government. It is hoped that this knowledge can become a reference for improving the governance of providing aid to communities in their regions, so that it is more accountable and targeted.
