Samarinda, Wednesday 10/2/2016. The Governor of East Kalimantan, DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak on behalf of the President of the Republic of Indonesia inaugurated and swore 
Position of DR.Ir.H.Rusmadi, MS as Middle High Leadership Official, Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province at Pondopo Lamin Etam Jalan Gajah Mada No. 1 Samarinda.
The Ceremony of Taking the Oath of Office and Inauguration of the Middle High Leadership Officials of the Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province was attended by the Regent/Mayor, TNI/Polri, SKPD officials and staff within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, mass organizations or NGOs as well as community figures.
Dr.Ir.H.Rusmadi MS as Head of Bappeda for East Kalimantan Province and at the same time as Acting. The Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province for two (2) years was finally sworn in and inaugurated today, Wednesday 10 February 2016 by the Governor of East Kalimantan, DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak on behalf of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to fill the position of Regional Secretary for East Kalimantan Province replacing the old official DR. Irianto Lambrie who has resigned to run for Governor and Deputy Governor of North Kalimantan.
The election of DR.Ir.H. Rusmadi, MS as Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province after going through an open selection process and public test attended by six (6) candidates for Provincial Secretary on Thursday, December 17 2015, in accordance with the mandate of Law no. 5 of 2014 concerning State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Permen-PAN No. 13 of 2014 concerning Procedures for Openly Filling High Leadership Positions within Government Agencies, until finally the appointment of the said officials was carried out through a Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia.
The Governor of East Kalimantan in his speech expressed his thanks and congratulations to DR.H.Ir. Irianto Lambrie is the long-serving Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan and has now been elected as Governor of North Kalimantan for the first time. "DR.Ir.H. Irianto Lambrie is an example of a successful career official and political official who can be a role model for others and hopefully North Kalimantan Province will achieve progress and glory under the leadership of the new Governor. Said the Governor of East Kalimantan, DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak.
H. Awang Faroek Ishak conveyed a message to the newly appointed Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan and other officials to be able to carry out their duties well and not to be afraid to implement policies as long as the policies are in favor of the interests of the people.
Apart from that, the Governor of East Kalimantan invited and invited all investors to invest in East Kalimantan and also advised the East Kalimantan officials and Regents/Mayors throughout East Kalimantan who were present to provide convenience and serve investors entering East Kalimantan and if there were problems with the regulations for serving investors, the regulations should be changed. Said the Governor of East Kalimantan.
