2013 East Kalimantan RKPD Public Consultation
Samarinda, Tuesday 13/3/12. Unmul Rector Prof. Dr. H. Zamruddin Hasid, SE., SU gave a speech as well as opening a Public Consultation event 
In the framework of the preparation of the 2013 East Kalimantan Province RKPD in the third floor rectorate meeting room of Mulawarman University in Samarinda. The Chancellor stressed that to foster the economy of the people of East Kalimantan, one of the solutions to provide a healthy and conusion climate in the area so that investors will grow in East Kalimantan, including by increasing and growing developing small and medium businesses (SMEs).

The Head of East Kalimantan Bappeda emphasized the Vision of East Kalimantan Bangkit 2013, namely "Realizing East Kalimantan as a Prominent Agro -Industry and Energy Center towards a Fair and Prosperous Society" with three regional development agendas, namely: 1. Creating East Kalimantan, Democratic, and Peace Supported by a clean and authoritative government; 2. Realizing a competitive and pro -people economy, and 3. Improving the quality of human resources and people's welfare.

Whereas the agricultural sector prioritizes the utilization of the potential of each region that has its own advantages, as well as the infrastructure sector is more focused on the needs of the community that can improve the regional economy.
The second discussion of Ir.H. Syahbandi, MM, Chairperson of the East Kalimantan LPJD provides advice and input to the education sector, especially in the target of 20% of the cost of the East Kalimantan APBD and the Regency/City to get more proportions and supervision to achieve targets and targets in accordance with the East Kalimantan RPJMD in 2009-2013.
