Public Consultation Year 2018 Initial Draft RKPD East Kalimantan

samarinda, 28/02/2018. Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda was represented by the Head of the Yusliando Regional Infrastructure, ST conveyed the presentation at the Public Consultation event in the context of the preparation of the initial draft RKPD of East Kalimantan Province in 2019 in the Samarinda Midtown Hotel Meeting Room.

In the presentation it was stated that the achievement of the Macro Development Indicator of East Kalimantan until 2017, namely the ADHB GRDP increased from the achievements of 2016, economic growth increased from 2016, the unemployment rate was smaller than 2016, the poverty rate increased from 2016, the inflation rate was lower than in 2016, investment index increased from 2016, the environmental quality index was lower from 2016, and the achievement of IPM was not yet determined. Increased economic growth is mainly due to an increase in the mining and excavation sector which of course also has an impact on the environmental quality of East Kalimantan Province.

Implementation of Public Consultation in 2018 which carries the theme "Strengthening Investment Competitiveness to Accelerate Industry Downstream" is an annual agenda carried out in the process of preparing regional annual development planning documents and is a continuation of the Bappeda technical meeting in Kalimantan in February in Bontang City. This forum is rainy to obtain input and suggestions from each element of stakeholders to improve the initial draft of the 2019 Regional Work Plan (RKPD). This was stated by the Secretary of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Drs. H. Sufian Agus, M.Sc.

"RKPD in 2019 is a transitional RKPD and is the first year of medium-term development plan for the 2018-2023 period that has not been compiled and determined. RKPD 2019 is very strategic because it must be able to interpret and describe strategic issues, problems and direction of development policies that can be in harmony with the RPJMD which is still not determined and determined.
