Coordination of Regional Development Innovation of East Kalimantan Province in 2022/2023
Friday, 03/06/2022. Head of Planning, Control and Evaluation of Regional Development Ibu Rina Juliati, S.Si., M.Si chaired the Regional Development Innovation Coordination Meeting in 2022/2023 which was held face to face at the Four Point Hotel in Balikpapan. This coordination meeting scheduled a discussion on the manufacture, imposition, and development of regional development innovations in 2022/2023 in the context of strengthening the substance of the RKPD of East Kalimantan Province in 2023. The meeting was attended by all structural officials of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda and representatives of several regional apparatus scope East Kalimantan Province such as Balitbangda, Kesbangpol, Disnakertrans, Diskominfo, DPTH, DPMPTSP, Disbun and also Disnakkeswan, East Kalimantan Province.

On this occasion, Ms. Rina said that in the delivery and implementation of the innovation developed in order to contain goals, goals, novelty (novelty) of the innovation developed, logical framework, stages systematic, input explanation, process explanation, output explanation, explanation of outcomes and impacts, stakeholders involved, regulatory support (regulation, pergub, decree, etc.), monitoring and evaluation of implementation, as well as potential replication and sustainability in the future.

Broadly speaking, the innovation criteria can be categorized above (1) novelty (unique ideas, new approaches, existing innovation modifications), (2) Effective (real and solutive achievements), (3) useful (solving public problems), (4) can be transferred (innovation can be replicated by other UPPs), (5) Sustainable (support for the continuity of innovation).

further said that the innovation of regional development must produce new products, new processes, and new systems based on ideas and creativity of all stakeholders in the area, not an initiation of donor agencies or Central government. In addition, the innovations developed were also aimed at strengthening planning and strengthening the process of achieving regional development goals. The innovation developed must also be in harmony with the theme of the RKPD of East Kalimantan Province in 2023, namely "Increasing Productivity to Realize Social and Economic Resilience of Inclusive and Sustainable Regions in the Sovereign East Kalimantan Framework".
