Coordination of Strengthening the Role of Sectors in Archives Management and Public Information Services

Balikpapan, (25/06/20) - The General Subdivision Secretariat held a coordination meeting with processing units from each sector to discuss strengthening archive management and Information and Documentation Management within the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province.

Located at UPTD PU Region I East Kalimantan Province, the meeting was chaired by Ahmad Risa, as Head of General Subdivision, and accompanied by Hastati Paturusi as Archives Coordinator and Hendra Wahyudi as PPID Coordinator.

In the archives discussion session, the importance of adjusting letter classification numbers based on the content or subject of the letter was conveyed. The archives manager from the processing unit also coordinates regarding the writing of letter numbers which refer to

Permendagri No. 83 of 2022 concerning Archives Classification Codes and East Kalimantan Gubernatorial Regulation No. 1 of 2024 concerning Official Documents.

This adjustment aims to create format uniformity and improve the quality of archives administration within Bappeda.

Apart from that, archives also urges to maximize the use of SRIKANDI in the correspondence process.

Meanwhile, to optimizing public information services, emphasizing the strategic role of each sector in supporting openness of public information.

This includes coverage of Bappeda activities, disseminating Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM) barcodes to invited OPD guests, as well as encouraging innovation through the development of the East Kalimantan Bappeda bulletin rubric. Apart from that, all fields are also encouraged to submit printed works to the East Kalimantan Bappeda Library.

In his direction, Ahmad Risa expressed his hope that the results of this meeting would become the basis for a joint commitment to support improving archival performance and public information disclosure.

"We hope that, through this coordination meeting, a common understanding and commitment will be created from all fields to help strengthen the system archives and public information services. "The use of the SRIKANDI application must also continue to fulfill the requirements for future assessments," said Ahmad Risa.


This meeting is part of ongoing efforts to realize transparent, accountable and also orderly administration.
