Visit from BRIN regarding IKN
In the context of field visits related to initial observations regarding the readiness of East Kalimantan Province as the IKN region for the preparation of the Academic Manuscript of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) to visit Bappeda Prov. Kaltim, Thursday (07/14/2022).

This visit was welcomed by the Head of Bappeda Prov. Kaltim Mr. Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM along with the ranks of the heads of the fields and sub -coordinator of the Functional Position of Young Expert Bappeda Prov. Kaltim.

Brin Regional Labor Coordinator Brin Ibu Sarah Siti Supriyanti said this brin visit was to compile an academic manuscript of the IKN policy for that, it requires cooperation from the Bappeda Prov.Kaltim to support the necessary data .

The plan to transfer the capital to the East Kalimantan region is expected to not occur a high expensive index, this was revealed by Brin's political research coordinator Mr. Sofyan Rozi when starting the discussion. One of the cizes is the transportation system that is still fairly expensive affects the selling value of goods in the new IKN region and the surrounding area.

Furthermore, he also said that related to the transfer of the capital, many things need to be considered not only about the infrastructure but also how to build a social system. In addition, Mr. Sofyan also said that the provision of clean water that must be considered around the IKN and a place to live close to the office area, this is intended to avoid congestion such as in Jakarta.
