Governor's Working Visit to the Mini Olympic Stadium Construction Site in Berau Regency
As part of the closing agenda in the series of working visits of the Governor of East Kalimantan to the northern region which was held on 17 - 24 December 2021, the Governor and Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan and their entourage accompanied by the Regent of Berau inspected the location of the Teluk Bayur Mini Olympic Stadium, Berau Regency.
The Secretary and Division of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province also accompanied him until the end of the activity.
This stadium was built using the Berau Regency APBD and Provincial Financial Assistance. Construction is carried out with a multi-year contract (MYC 2020 - 2021). In 2022, this stadium is targeted to be used for the implementation of the East Kalimantan Province Porprov.
This stadium is the first stadium in Berau which has a grandstand capacity of 3,018 people and has been referenced by FIFA standards and has tracks and athletic facilities which refer to the IAAF.
The hope is that this stadium can be developed even better in the future and can become a source of pride for the people of Berau.
