Deputy Governor's Working Visit to East Kalimantan Bappeda

Samarinda, Friday 24/2/12. Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan H. Farid Wadjdy together with the Head of the Regional Office of East Kalimantan Province paid a working visit to the office Bappeda Kalimantan Province East in order to make friends with all officials and staff within the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province and coordinate the development programs of East Kalimantan Province in the Basic Pattern meeting room on the first floor of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Jalan Kusuma Bangsa Number 2 Samarinda, attended by all officials and staff within the East Kalimantan Bappeda.

The work visit of the Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan was hosted by the Master of Ceremonies, sister Astien Ariyani, staff of the East Kalimantan Bappeda Secretariat, starting with a prayer reading by Sajid Ikhsan Fuad, ST and continued with remarks by the Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda DR.Ir.H. Rusmadi.MS who said that the East Kalimantan Bappeda is a strategic institution in improving the development of East Kalimantan, therefore the Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda asked for moral support from the Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan to provide suggestions and supplements to make carrying out future tasks easier and better directed. The Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda and all staff totaling 122 people are ready to assist the 2013 Kaltim Bangkit Program and the program to increase the development of East Kalimantan in efforts to improve community welfare.

The Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan said that the East Kalimantan Bappeda institution is a very strategic institution in improving the development of East Kalimantan, and likened Bappeda to the kitchen of East Kalimantan development, If the spices served are not good, the food will certainly not be delicious. Said the Deputy Governor. For this reason, the East Kalimantan Bappeda under the leadership of DR.Ir.Rusmadi.MS and all officials and staff work, work, work and achieve and work sincerely and work not for a leader, work not because of a leader, work based on responsibility according to their respective main duties.

Apart from that, the Deputy Governor also gave advice to both staff and those who hold positions to have a sense of gratitude to ALLAH SWT and that there is nothing to be proud of, for those who hold positions that the position is a mandate from ALLAH SWT, the Baperjakat team is only an intermediary in occupying that position, apart from that, the position is the trust of a leader to occupy the position in question because it is considered that this position can remind the duties and burdens of a leader, if there is an official it actually adds to the burden of a leader's duties which means there is something problem.

There is an important point in the advice conveyed by the Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan, that both staff and officials will all return to where they came from and will not have anything back, so do good because there is nothing to be proud of either for staff or for officials, and the last session of the deputy governor's working visit to the East Kalimantan Bappeda was marked by the signing of an integrity pact by all Echelon III and Echelon IV officials within the East Kalimantan Bappeda witnessed by the Deputy Governor, Head Bappeda, as well as the Head of East Kalimantan Itwilprov.

The deputy governor's meeting continued in the Propeda meeting room on the 2nd floor of the East Kalimantan Bappeda which began with a presentation by the Head of the East Kalimantan BAPPEDA DR.Ir.H. Rusmadi.MS about the priority programs of East Kalimantan Province and supporting programs implemented by the East Kalimantan Bappeda including the SIPPD Program (Regional Development Planning Information System coordinated by the Head of the Program Planning Subdivision, Ir. Surono; the SISMONOP (Development Monitoring Information System) and SISMODAS (East Kalimantan Spatial Data Monetization System) programs and all these programs received very good appreciation from the Deputy Governor.
