Involving Excel World Cup Participants, East Kalimantan Bappeda Holds Impactful Data Visualization Workshop
The East Kalimantan Province Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), through the Program Planning Sub-Division, held a "Visualization of Impactful Data" Workshop in order to increase the capacity of human resources (HR) within the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Wednesday (1/10). This activity, which was carried out online and offline in the PROPEDA Bappeda Kaltim Meeting Room, was specifically designed to deepen the abilities of Bappeda staff in recognizing, analyzing and synthesizing performance data, as well as ensuring that the data can provide an overview of a phenomenon and is presented effectively.
The specialty of this workshop was the presence of Calvin as the main speaker, a professional known as the Excel World Cup Participant Representative of Indonesia, who delivered material on the Principles of Impactful Data Visualization. Apart from improving their knowledge, participants who attended the event to the end also received certificates.
The implementation of this workshop shows the commitment of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, which was initiated by the Head of the Program Planning Sub-Division of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Stella Felicia Sinaga, in encouraging superior and data literate human resources in the regional government environment. This activity is also a strategic step to ensure that the planning and performance evaluation process can be supported by clear and informative data presentation.
