Monitoring and Evaluation of the Results of the Implementation of Minimum Service Standards

The Governance and Human Development Division of the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda attended a coordination meeting in the context of monitoring and evaluating the implementation of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) in the Province and District/City Regions which was carried out by the Directorate General of Regional Development Development (Bangda) Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday, December 17 2021.

The meeting, which was held online and attended by 965 participants consisting of Regional Apparatus throughout Indonesia as SPM Administrators, was opened by Plt. Directorate General of Regional Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Mr. Sugeng Haryono.

In his speech and direction, it was stated that the achievement of SPM implementation in the regions in 2020 was still not optimal. This is due, among other things, to the fact that the Regions have not yet fulfilled the stages of implementing the SPM properly. The stages of implementing the SPM include data collection, calculating the need for basic service fulfillment, preparing a plan for basic service fulfillment, and implementing basic service fulfillment.

It was further stated that the Coordination Team for the implementation of SPM in the Regions consisting of Bappeda and Regional Apparatus throughout Indonesia can carry out regular monitoring and evaluation at least once every 3 months, so that the implementation of SPM can be achieved optimally.
