Strengthening Assessment Officials, East Kalimantan Bappeda Strengthens ASN Performance Management
Strengthening the role of ASN performance assessment officials is an important step in improving the quality of government governance in East Kalimantan. The East Kalimantan Bappeda through the Head of General Subdivision, M. Isnainil Hude, took part in the Socialization on Strengthening ASN Performance Appraisal Officials within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government which was organized by the East Kalimantan BKD at the Midtown Samarinda Hotel, Wednesday, December 10 2025. The activity with the theme "Strengthening the Integrity of Appraisal Officials to Realize an Objective and Fair ASN Performance Assessment" was opened by the Secretary of the East Kalimantan BKD, Jane Andriana Roosmawanti Nazaruddin, and moderated by Said Hudein.
Through this socialization, performance appraisal officials gain a strengthened understanding of the purpose of performance appraisal which is not only to assess, but also develop the capacity of ASN to be more professional, have integrity and be results-oriented. Resource persons from BKN, Young Expert Policy Analyst, Hermawan Wahidin and First Expert Statistician, Rahma Devi Kusumaning Putri, explained material on ASN performance management which included the legal basis, performance management principles, ASN performance expectations, and the importance of aligning individual performance with organizational performance. Participants also gained an understanding of the strategic role of assessment officials in building a culture of constructive and fair performance dialogue.
For the East Kalimantan Bappeda, participation in this activity provides real benefits in the form of strengthening the capacity of assessment officials in managing employee performance in a more objective, transparent and measurable manner. The explanation regarding the use of the BKN e-Kinerja application which is integrated with SIASN enriched participants' insight regarding the digitalization of performance management as a basis for providing rewards and developing ASN careers. In the future, it is hoped that the knowledge and skills obtained can be implemented in the performance assessment process within the East Kalimantan Bappeda so that it has an impact on improving organizational performance and the quality of regional development planning services. rgb(0, 0, 0);">#bappedakaltim2025
