The movement of the country's capital and opportunities for potential investors from the Southeast Asian region
Because of the planning of the transfer of the capital city and the projection of the development of IKN Nusantara, countries in the Southeast Asian region also pay quite intense attention in this development. Therefore, the Indonesian Ambassador of the Bandar Seri Begawan held the agenda of forum-11 Brainstorming Head of Representative of the Republic of Indonesia Southeast Asia with the theme "Transfer of the Capital Capital and Opportunities for Prospective Investors from the Southeast Asian Region" which was held Friday (27/05/2022) through the zoom meeting.

The forum was attended by 74 participants namely the Indonesian Ambassador of the Southeast Asian region, Plt. Director General of Spatial Planning, Governor of Prov. Kaltim, Head of Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan and Head of Infrastructure and Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan. There are 3 (three) speakers at the forum, namely Plt. Director General of Spatial Planning; East Kalimantan Governor and PT PII (Indonesian Infrastructure Guarantee).

In the forum, several ambassadors explained the interest of potential investors in the IKN area. As explained by Plt. The Director General of Spatial Planning that, the Capital City of the Archipelago as an economic superhub with 3 IKN and East Kalimantan economic development strategies, namely: 1. Diversification and New Economic Sector; 2. Principles of Industrial Development: Sustainable, Green and Technologically Advanced; 3. Development of the Capital City as Prime Mover Economic Recovery Post Covid-19.

Head of Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan asserted that the IKN transition team can coordinate intensely with the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan in order to prosper the community around the IKN because of the established laws.
