Information Openness FGD Meeting in East Kalimantan
Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province attended virtual implementation of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) information disclosure in East Kalimantan Province. Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province, Ir. H. M. Sa'bani, M.Sc opened and at the same time gave a speech that emphasized the importance of synergy that needed to be built between all government agencies at the central, provincial and district/city levels in order to optimize information disclosure and public services.
present as the speaker Prof. Dr. Henri Subiakto (Professor of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Unair and Expert Staff of the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia) conveyed related to the importance of protection of personal data and the challenges faced and the urgency of determining the Bill on Personal Data Protection in Indonesia.
In the next presentation session, Muhammad Khaidir (Commissioner of the Information Commission of Prov. East Kalimantan) conveyed the disclosure of information in East Kalimantan which was described by the results of the Survey of the Public Information Openness Index (IKIP) in East Kalimantan in the range of 80.01 percent or in a pretty good category.
