East Kalimantan Regional Investor High Level Meeting
Thursday, September 9 2021. Provincial Bappeda attended the "High Level Regional Meeting of East Kalimantan Investors".
RIRU Kaltim is a coordination forum between the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and Bank Indonesia which aims to integrate regional resources and strengths in order to encourage the growth of the East Kalimantan Trade, Tourism, Investment and Industry (Trade, Tourism, Investment and Industry / TTII) sector so that it can increase global competitiveness in supporting high economic growth and maintaining a positive perception of East Kalimantan.
RIRU Kaltim's work programs include Data and Information Dissemination, Coordination and Strategy Formulation, and Stakeholder Engagement. In 2020, RIRU Kaltim has successfully implemented various activity programs such as involvement in Indonesia Investment Day 2020 Singapore, as well as holding East Kalimantan Investment Profiling (PIKAT) to obtain new investment potential in East Kalimantan.
At IID 2020, RIRU Kaltim brought 4 projects, namely KEK Maloy, KI Kariangau, Balikpapan Waste Management, and the Balikpapan Bay Toll Bridge – PPU. There are 2 projects taking part in the one on one meeting, namely Balikpapan Waste Management by Loesche Energy System and Macquarie Capital/Green Investment Group and the Balikpapan Bay Toll Bridge – PPU by Kingshan Ltd.
