Balikpapan City RPJMD Ranwal Consultation Meeting 2021 - 2026
Following up on the letter from the Mayor of Balikpapan regarding consultation on the initial draft of the Balikpapan City RPJMD for 2021-2026, the East Kalimantan Provincial Government through the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda facilitated the consultation.
Delivered by the Bappelitbang of Balikpapan City, several priority programs for the Mayor for 2021-2026 are Government Bureaucracy that serves not being served; all communities have 100% access to drinking water; no school age children not attending school, improving the quality of education; target of having the skills and capital to be independent, realizing Balikpapan as a comfortable city to live in for everyone; Flood Free Balikpapan; creating a market that encourages improving the quality of human resources; Perusda's contribution to PAD.
There are problems in determining Balikpapan city's priority programs, namely in the education sector, including limited formation of ASN recruitment, especially teaching staff, there are still teachers who have not been certified, the scope of availability of educational facilities, etc.; in the Health sector, among others, there is unequal access to knowledge and information related to the treatment of pregnant women, efforts to reduce infant mortality rates have not been optimal, the distribution of health human resources has not been evenly distributed, the number of infectious diseases is still high, etc.; in the area of public works and spatial planning, such as the lack of optimal data and road management, the absence of an information system for monitoring and controlling space utilization; and several problems in the field of public housing and residential areas.
There are several inputs including those related to social, educational, spatial planning, health and other fields which are submitted in writing.
The results of this consultation will be issued a letter from the governor as a basis for the City of Balikpapan to perfect the 2021-2026 RPJMD draft.
