Coordination Meeting for Development and Supervision of Assistance Tasks

The East Kalimantan Provincial Government through BAPPEDA held a Coordination Meeting on the Implementation of the Duties and Authorities of the Governor as Representative of the Central Government (GWPP) with the theme "Monitoring Evaluation of the Implementation of Assistance Duties in Regency/City in the context of Synergy between the Center and the Regions through Decentralizing the Duties and Authorities of the Governor as the Central Government" in the meeting room of the Swiss-bel Hotel Balikpapan, Wednesday (03/08/2022).

This event aims to provide guidance and supervision for the implementation of assistance tasks (TP) in districts/cities, opened by the head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM accompanied by the Head of Regional Government and Development, Hj. Nani Nuraini, ST., MT and Head of the Development Administration Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of East Kalimantan Province, Hj. Lisa Hasliana. This event was attended by approximately sixty face-to-face participants from Regional Apparatus within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and BAPPEDALITBANG Districts/Cities throughout East Kalimantan and some attended online.

Meanwhile, the resource persons present were from BAPPEDA East Kalimantan Province, Head of the Human Development Division, Hj. Nani Nuraini, ST., MT and Head of the Development Administration Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of East Kalimantan Province, Hj. Lisa Hasliana, while online resource persons from the Central Government included the Director of Task Deconcentration and Cooperation Assistance, the Ministry of National Development Planning for Regional Development, the Director General of Financial Balance, and the Head of the East Kalimantan Development Administration Bureau, as well as the Regency/City Bappelitbang throughout East Kalimantan.

Coordination with the Regency/City Bappeda aims to determine the performance achievements of the implementation of Assistance Tasks in the Regency/City, as well as evaluating the implementation of Assistance Task activities regarding the realization of program implementation achievements, the Assistance Task budget, problems and obstacles faced, as well as targets and follow-up and solutions in overcoming these obstacles.

In his speech Mr. Aswin explained that Assistance Tasks are assignments from the Central Government to autonomous regions to carry out some of the Government Affairs which are the authority of the Central Government or from provincial Regional Governments to district/city regions. The assignment of assistance tasks is intended to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of government administration, development management and public services.
