East Kalimantan together with the Social Service and the Faculty of Law at Mulawarman University held a meeting to discuss the Draft Gubernatorial Regulation and Technical Documents for Preparing the 2023 RAD for Persons with Disabilities for East Kalimantan Province in the Repetada meeting room.

Led by Young Expert Planner Sub. People's Welfare Coordinator, Mr. Asfiandi Zulfiar, this meeting was intended as an initial meeting in preparing the Regional Action Plan for Persons with Disabilities for East Kalimantan Province. Where is Bapeda Provincial East Kalimantan facilitated and formed the RAD Preparation Team until it was adopted as a Governor's Regulation.

RAD for Persons with Disabilities aims to ensure that the basic rights and needs of Persons with Disabilities are met, encourage the empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and so that they participate in inclusive development, as mandated by Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas Regulation number 3 of 2021 where Regional Governments are obliged to stipulate Governor Regulations regarding RAD for Persons with Disabilities.
