Meeting of Revised Preparation and Food & Nutrition Action Plan (RAD-PG) and Evaluation of the Implementation of the East Kalimantan Province RAD-PG in 2021
Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province was represented by the economic and natural resources sector carrying out the activities "Revision and Action Plan for Food and Nutrition and Evaluation of the Implementation of RAD-PG Prov. . East Kalimantan 2021 ".
In connection with the issuance of the National Action Plan for Food and Nutrition (RAN-PG) of 2021-2024 as well as changes to the program/activity nomenclature in accordance with Permendagri Number 90 of 2019 concerning Classification, Codeification, and Nomenclature Regional Development and Finance Planning, a coordination meeting was held to discuss the Revised and Evaluation of the Implementation of 2021 in the Rad-PG of East Kalimantan Province in 2019-2023.
The coordination meeting was held on October 19, 2021 at Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan and attended by related regional apparatus organizations (OPD) in the Provincial Government. Kaltim.
In handling nutritional problems, especially in East Kalimantan, there are still a number of general strategic issues found in terms of increasing food and nutrition security, namely: food production capacity, food consumption and malnutrition, price Food, and food demand.
With the revision of the East Kalimantan Province Food and Nutrition Action Plan which will be prepared and with a structured and integrated action-oriented program in five pillars is expected to answer and overcome the existing food and nutritional problems In East Kalimantan, especially in an effort to reduce stunting.
