Technical Meeting for Region IV Strengthening Integration to Increase Food Security and Nutrition with Convergent Action to Reduce Stunting
Thursday, September 2. Technical meeting for region IV strengthening integration, increasing food security and nutrition, convergence reducing stunting.
The meeting was held in the context of joint efforts and commitment to increase food and nutritional security at the individual, family and community levels in order to achieve the target of reducing the prevalence of stunting by 14% by 2024.
- The acceleration of stunting reduction in Presidential Decree 72/2021 is carried out: strengthening planning and budgeting, improving the quality of implementation, improving the quality of monitoring, reporting evaluation and improving human resources.
- Encourage the provincial government to establish and strengthen a coordinating team to accelerate stunting reduction at the provincial level through a Governor's Decree by involving PD, stakeholders.
- Facilitate the Provincial Government to conduct performance assessments of the District/City governments in implementing 8 convergence actions.
