East Kalimantan Provincial Level Stunting Consultation in 2024
Samarinda (25/06/2024) - The East Kalimantan Provincial Government carried out the East Kalimantan Provincial Level Stunting Conference at the Mercure Samarinda Hotel in order to accelerate the reduction of stunting which is one of the National priority programs in the 2020-2024 RPJMN, Tuesday (25/6).
In the report of the organizing committee submitted by the Head of the Government and Human Development Division of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Mr. Mispoyo, the 2024 Provincial Level Stunting Consultation with the theme "Priority Locus Interventions as the basis for Accelerating Stunting Reduction" which was attended by various relevant stakeholders within the East Kalimantan Provincial and Regency/City Governments was carried out as an effort to build a commitment to accelerate stunting reduction in an integrated manner at the Provincial and Regency/City levels as well as as the best learning practice for handling stunting in districts/cities in order to accelerate the achievement of the national stunting reduction target.
The Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province, Mrs. Sri Wahyuni, in her speech hoped that through the implementation of this provincial stunting consultation, the Provincial TPPS, district/city TPPS and related parties could carry out an evaluation of the implementation of the stunting reduction acceleration program, then identify and find solutions to the various obstacles and obstacles encountered in the field along with recommendations that must be made in an effort to achieve the target of all indicators for accelerating stunting reduction.
The activity continued with a presentation of efforts to accelerate stunting reduction from all districts/cities and discussions.
The output from the implementation of this Stunting Consultation is a memorandum of agreement on the Team Work Plan for the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction.
