Greetings and Resource Resources for Green Development in East Kalimantan

Regional Council of Climate Change (DDPI) of East Kalimantan Province together with the East Kalimantan Provincial Government with the support of the Nusantara Alam Conservation Foundation held a Rembug event with the parties who have been involved in the green development process in Kalimantan East, Tuesday (12/07/2022).

Green Development Rembug which was held at the Mercure Samarinda Hotel and opened by Plt. Assistant Economy and Administration of Development of East Kalimantan Province Regional Secretariat, Prof. Dr. Ir. H.M. Aswin, MM representing the East Kalimantan Provincial Secretary was carried out in order to conduct reviews and adjustments to the strategies and policies of green development in order to answer various challenges of the dynamics of green development in East Kalimantan.

Plt. Assistant for the Economy and Administration of the Development of the Regional Secretariat of the Province of East Kalimantan who was also present as a resource person in the Green Development Rembug delivered a presentation related to green development in East Kalimantan.

"Green Development Activities in the Regency/City are now contained in the Regional Apparatus Strategic Plan, where in total there are 97 programs and 187 activities in 8 districts/cities, including Berau, East Kutai , Kukar, Kubar, Mahulu, PPU, Paser, and Balikpapan. ", He explained.

With the active involvement of the parties to the development of the dynamics of green development in East Kalimantan, it is expected to increase the understanding and participation of all parties in implementing and integrating the strategies and programs of green development into Regional Development Plan Document.
