Early Seminar on the Preparation of the Food Security Grand Design in 2025-2045 East Kalimantan Province
Balikpapan, (06/11/2024)-Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province held an early seminar on the preparation of the Food Security Design Study in 2025-2045. This activity aims to formulate a long -term strategy to ensure food security in East Kalimantan is maintained and can face various challenges. which must be fulfilled without exception. He also reminded that the right to obtain food is a human right, which is listed in Article 27 of the 1945 Constitution. According to him, food security is not only related to sufficient food availability, but also involves food safety factors, food diversity, and distribution equitable and affordable by all levels of society. The grand design of food security is a very strategic step to ensure food security in the Province of East Kalimantan is maintained and even increases in the future, "said the Head of the Economy and Natural Resources (PSDA) in his remarks.
This seminar aims to develop concrete steps in order to achieve sustainable food security in East Kalimantan. .
