Socialization of Low Carbon Development Action Reporting (PRK) for East Kalimantan Province via the AKSARA Bappenas Portal

Today, the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, through the East Kalimantan Bappeda, is carrying out Socialization on Reporting Low Carbon Development Actions (PRK) for East Kalimantan Province via the AKSARA Bappenas Portal which was carried out in a hybrid manner (offline and online) at the Platinum Balikpapan Hotel, Friday (24/11/2023).

The Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, represented by the Head of the Economic and Natural Resources Division of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Mr. Wahyu Gatut Purboyo opened and delivered a speech at the activity which was attended by around 110 participants consisting of elements from the Regional Apparatus of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, Bappeda/Bappelitbang/Regency Bappedalitbang /City and elements of Regional Leadership at Regency/City scope, elements of UPTD KPHP/KPHL/Tahura Dinas East Kalimantan Forestry, as well as Development Partners and Leaders of related Companies in East Kalimantan Province.

In his speech, he stated that the Indonesian Government, through the Low Carbon Development (PRK) initiative, is responding to the challenge of addressing climate change issues so that reducing greenhouse gas emissions is in line with other sustainable development agendas such as economic growth, poverty alleviation and food security.

It was further explained that AKSARA is present as a planning platform for monitoring and reporting RPK actions in a transparent, accurate, complete, consistent and integrated manner.

For your information, this activity was moderated by Mr. M. Fadly, S.Hut., M.Hut. (Expert in the PSDA Sector of East Kalimantan Bappeda) and presented 5 resource persons including:
1. Mrs. Anna Amalia (an element from the Directorate of the Environment Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas);
2. Mrs. Novia Mustikasari (element of the LCDI/Low Carbon Development Initiative of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas);
3. Mrs. Aisyah Putri (LCDI);
4. Mr. Abdurrohman Hidayat (LCDI); and
5. Mr. Putu Indy (LCDI);

Through this activity, it is hoped that all stakeholders can work together, so that the East Kalimantan Province Low Carbon Development Action Reporting Program (PRK) through AKSARA can be implemented well to support the achievement of the East Kalimantan Development Vision and Mission.
