HSN WEBINAR “THE ROLE OF DATA IN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION DURING THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC”
In commemoration of National Statistics Day, the East Kalimantan Provincial Central Statistics Agency on Saturday, October 16 2021 held a webinar with the theme "The Role of Data in Digital Transformation During the Covid 19 Pandemic" which was broadcast via zoom meeting and the official BPS Kaltim YouTube account. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province also had the opportunity to attend the event virtually.
A number of speakers were present at the webinar with presentation themes including: "The Role of Information Technology in Producing Quality Data" by Joko Parmiyanto, "Big Data for Small Business" by Elga Yulwardian, "Digital Transformation in the East Kalimantan Business World" by Bakri Hadi (Chair of HIPMI Kaltim).
Several things that can be summarized from a number of presentations given by a number of speakers include: Digital transformation is an inevitability that needs to be carried out at this time, especially in facing the conditions of the Covid 19 pandemic; To compile big data related to the East Kalimantan business world, it can be built by developing local startup companies to support the availability of this data; HIPMI Kaltim as an association in the economic development of East Kalimantan, in the future will strive to synergize and collaborate with local IT/Digital companies in East Kalimantan for the development of the East Kalimantan business world.
