Kaltim Expo 2013 Promotion Facilities

Samarinda, 19/8/13. The East Kalimantan Provincial Government held a development exhibition to commemorate Republic Independence Day The 68th Indonesia entitled Kaltim Expo 2013 at the Sempaja Athlete Hotel, Sempaja Stadium Complex, Samarinda, and the parking lot of the Sempaja Atlet Hotel, Stadium Complex Sempaja Samarinda, 19 - 23 August 2013.

The Governor of East Kalimantan, DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak delivered a speech and officially opened the 2013 Kaltim Expo, Monday, 19/8/13 in the presence of Plt. Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province, and Head of Bappeda East Kalimantan, DR.Ir.H. Rusmadi, MS along with officials within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, and guests estimated at 150 people.

The 2013 Kaltim Expo was attended by participants from all SKPDs within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, City Regency Governments throughout East Kalimantan, private sector elements, and Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) throughout East Kalimantan.

The Governor of East Kalimantan revealed that the Kaltim Expo is a strategic activity as a means of promoting regions, private companies and small and medium enterprises (UKM). The Kaltim Expo will display all information on development results in the last five years, both physical and non-physical development.
The Governor of East Kalimantan hopes that stakeholders can make the best use of the Kaltim Expo by becoming participants, so that the public can understand the extent of the success of development so far.

The 2013 Kaltim Expo is a special event because it is a summary of the development process carried out by all regional work units in the last five years or in the 2008 - 2013 RPJMD range. Said the governor of East Kalimantan.

Kaltim Expo 2013 as a medium for conveying information on various development planning programs and various development programs that have been carried out by SKPD within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and Regency/City Governments throughout East Kalimantan, the committee also prepared promotional stands regarding the potential and opportunities in the fields of infrastructure, energy, coal, industry and trade, agriculture in the broadest sense and forestry. Other sectors such as products and services produced by large, medium and small scale companies will also be presented at this exhibition.

The agenda presented by the presenter began with the reading of prayers from the East Kalimtan Religious Department office and continued with a report from the chairman of the Kaltim Expo 2013 committee which was delivered by the Head of Promotion & Investment Cooperation, Ir.H. Dachriadi, MM then continued with remarks from representatives of the private sector who welcomed very enthusiastically the implementation of the 2013 Kaltim Expo, and the next event was a welcome and opening speech delivered by the Governor of East Kalimantan.

Before the Governor of East Kalimantan left the stage, it continued with an arts performance or entertainment stage by bringing in the capital's well-known astis, namely Betharia Sonata and the astis immediately asked the Governor of East Kalimantan to sing a duet together and offered the Governor of East Kalimantan to choose the song he wanted.

After the opening ceremony was finished, the Governor of East Kalimantan together with a group of Muspida within the scope of the East Kalimantan Government visited each participant of the 2013 Kaltim Expo both inside the Athlete Hotel and outside the Athlete Hotel area, Sempaja Samarinda Stadium Complex.

Kaltim Expo 2013 provides 170 exhibition stands. Participants are from all SKPDs within East Kalimantan, and districts/cities, BUMN/BUMD, cooperative-assisted businesses, industry and craftsmen, educational and skills institutions, banking, multi-product companies, information and telecommunications.

A total of 106 stands are inside the athletes' hotel and the remaining 64 stands with roofer tents are outside the hotel. Automotive, culinary and MSME promotions will be in the outside area so it will be the first area that visitors will see.

The 2013 Kaltim Expo was also attended by participants from several Ministries of the Republic of Indonesia and participants from abroad, including those from the Northern Territory, Australia and participants from Kuching, Malaysia, and the 2013 Kaltim Expo was an integral part of the 2013 Second Kaltim Summit which was held on 29 to 31 July 2013 at the Ballom Room of the Gran Senyiur Hotel, Jl.
