Samarinda, Wednesday 16/3/2016. The East Kalimantan Provincial Government has determined that the Government of Kutai Kartanegara Regency has succeeded in achieving achievements gloriously won first place (1) in the 2016 Pangripta Nusantara (APN) Award at the East Kalimantan Province level with total points of 3.02 and won second (2) was won by Bontang City with a total score of 3.00 and third (3) was won by East Kutai Regency with a total score of 2.76.

The 2016 East Kalimantan Provincial Pangripta Nusantara (APN) Award was issued by the East Kalimantan Provincial Government through a long process and the Main Assessment Team included: 1). East Kalimantan Province Regional Research and Development Agency (Prof. DR. Dwi Nugroho.H); 2). Bappeda Kalimantan Province (Ir. Ujang Rachmad, M.Si and Siti Sudiyanti, M.Si); 3). East Kalimantan Province Regional Secretariat General Government Bureau (Dra.Hj. Ismiati, M.Si); 4). Regional Development Bureau (Ir. H. Salman Lumoindong, MM); 5). East Kalimantan Provincial Inspectorate (M. Sa'duddin, AK, CA).

The Independent Assessment Team came from Mulawarman University Academics including: 1). Prof. DR. Enny Rochaida, M.Si; 2). Prof. DR. Mustofa Agung Sardjono; 3). DR. Suyadi; 4). DR. Sofia Lena; 5). Asman Aziz; 6). Rusliansyah, SE., M.Si; 7). Akhmad Noor, SE, M.Se and the Technical Assessment Team from the Planning Division of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda carried out in the Mancong Hotel Mesra Samarinda meeting room, Wednesday, 16/3/2016.

The second stage of assessment involves presenting presentations and interviews with three (3) nominees for the best regencies/cities in East Kalimantan, namely Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kutai Regency and Bontang City, the best of the 10 regencies/cities in East Kalimantan.

Presentations and interviews are delivered directly by the Head of Bappeda of each Regency/City and must not be represented. In delivering presentations and interviews, this is also a fairly significant assessment, including the presentation delivery technique, presentation documents submitted and even the body movements of those delivering the presentation also receive assessments and responses from interviews delivered by each assessment team.

The presentation and interview from Kutai Kartanegara Regency was delivered by the Head of Kukar Regency Bappeda, Totok Heru Subroto, by conveying the planning process of the Village Musrenbag, Subdistrict Musrenbang and Kutai Kartanegara Regency Musrenbang, as well as innovations in the development planning system which have been carried out online using applications. Meanwhile, innovation programs have been carried out in the tourism and agricultural sectors broadly.

Meanwhile, the Bontang City Government's presentation was delivered by the Head of Bappeda, Ir. Zulkifli, MT conveyed the development planning process outlined in the 2015 Bontang City RKPD, from the sub-district Musrenbang process, Subdistrict Musrenbang and Bontang City Musrenbang, involving children's forums and local NGOs. Meanwhile, the innovations carried out by the Bontang City Government in 2015 were planting seaweed, providing seed assistance through CSR and assistance in marketing.

Meanwhile, the East Kutai Regency presentation was delivered by the Head of the East Kutai Regency Bappeda, Ir. Suprihanto CES, in delivering a presentation about the planning process carried out in East Kutai Regency in the 2016 RKPD and the innovation program which constitutes local wisdom carried out by the East Kutai Regency Government in 2015 and 2016, namely the tourism and clean water sectors for public services.
