TKPK Kaltim Technical Coordination Meeting
Samarinda, 18/7/13. Head of Human Resources Development, Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Drs. Hariyo Santoso chairs the Coordination Meeting 
Teknis TKPK (Poverty Alleviation Coordination Team) East Kalimantan Province in the Basic Pattern meeting room on the first floor East Kalimantan Bappeda, Jl. Kusuma Bangsa Number 2 Samarainda together with resource persons from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Directorate General of Community and Village Empowerment; resource persons from the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia Secretariat of the Vice President; resource person from the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia; resource person from PT. Indonesian post; resource person from TNP2K; resource person from Jamkesmas East Kalimantan Province; resource persons from Bulog Divre Kaltim and resource persons from BPS Kaltim, attended by participants from all SKPDs within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government as well as Bappeda District Cities throughout East Kalimantan totaling approximately one hundred people.
The meeting leader and moderator, Drs. Hariyo Santoso gave the first opportunity to resource persons from the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia Secretariat of the Vice President with the presentation title "Program for the Acceleration and Expansion of Social Protection (P4S) and Social Protection Card Participation (KPS).
In his presentation agenda there were three main agendas, namely first the acceleration and expansion of social protection (P4S) program, second the Social Protection Card (KPS) and third Handling of Participation.
The acceleration and expansion of social protection (P4S) program includes: 1). To maintain the purchasing power of the poor as a result of the fuel subsidy policy, steps have been prepared to accelerate and expand 3 social protection programs that have been implemented regularly by the government, as well as a special BLSM compensation program and Accelerated Infrastructure Development; 2). P4S is implemented using Social Protection Cards (KPS) which are distributed to Poor and Vulnerable Households; 3). P4S includes: a). Rice Subsidies for Low Income Communities (Raskin); b). Family Hope Program (PKH); c). Poor Student Assistance (BSM); d). Temporary Community Direct Assistance (BLSM).

OBJECTIVES OF THE REGULAR RASKIN PROGRAM IN 2013
The 2013 regular Rice for the Poor (Raskin) distribution program in East Kalimantan province aims to reduce the expenditure burden on Target Households (RTS) by fulfilling some basic food needs in the form of rice.
2013 REGULAR RASKIN PROGRAM TARGET
Meanwhile, the target of the Regular Raskin program in 2013 is to reduce the expenditure burden of 147,718 RTS in meeting rice food needs through the distribution of subsidized rice of 15kg/RTS/month or the equivalent of 180 kg/RTS/year with a Raskin Redemption Price of IDR 1,600.00/kg net at the Distribution Point (TD).
