                                Advocacy and Socialization for the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction in Mahakam Ulu Regency
                            
                            
                                
Friday, 10 December 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province through its representatives (Government and Human Development Sector) attended the meeting "Advocacy and Socialization for the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction in Mahakam Ulu Regency" which was held virtually/online.
The meeting was opened and chaired by the Regional Secretary of Mahakam Ulu Regency and attended by Regional Officials involved in handling stunting within the Mahakam Ulu Regency Government. This meeting is aimed at discussing a number of actions that need to be carried out by the Mahakam Ulu Regency Government as well as important points that need to be included in the draft Mahakam Ulu Regent Regulation regarding handling stunting in Mahakam Ulu Regency.
The Head of Subdivision for People's Welfare, Mr. Andrie Asdi, SH, conveyed several things about the conditions and strategies that need to be implemented by the Mahakam Ulu Regency Government, especially emphasizing the planning aspects in the RPJMD and RKPD, strengthening the role of the PKK driving team, activating Posyandu and optimizing the use of village funds for handling stunting.
It was also conveyed that the East Kalimantan Provincial Government will always be ready to accompany the Mahakam Ulu Regency Government in dealing with the problem of stunting in the region because this is an important issue that is a national priority.
