East Kalimantan Bappeda Becomes Resource Person for Preparation of Geospatial Gender
Samarinda (27/06/2024) - East Kalimantan Province Bappeda through the Head of PPM Mispoyo and P2EPD division staff Rahmat Hidayat were present as resource persons at the coordination meeting for the preparation of thematic gender geospatial information carried out by the Samarinda City women's empowerment and child protection service on Wednesday 26 June 2024 at the Aston Samarinda Hotel.
This coordination meeting was opened by the head of the Samarinda city women's empowerment and child protection service and attended by heads of welfare sections from 10 sub-districts and 59 sub-districts in Samarinda city.
The objectives of compiling Thematic Gender Responsive Geospatial Information in 2024 are as follows :
1. Increase the accuracy of information on facilities and infrastructure supporting the implementation of Gender Mainstreaming in government agencies, especially sub-districts and sub-districts.
2. Summarize the problems and obstacles faced in optimizing development benefits for all groups of society.
3. As material for policy formulation, decision making, and implementation of related activities.
4. Geospatial information can also be used to achieve sustainable development goals or SDGs.
5. Helping stakeholders to monitor regional developments
6. Becomes the basis for urban planning information
