East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda Attends National Coordination Meeting on Geospatial Information in 2024
Bappeda East Kalimantan Province through PPEPD Division Staff, Rahmat Hidayat and Rio Widhi Perdana attended the 2024 National Coordination Meeting for Geospatial Information (RAKORNAS IG) organized by the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) together with the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (Ministry of National Development Planning/BAPPENAS) at the Kempinski Hotel Jakarta, Thursday (20/6).
RAKORNAS IG is an annual agenda to evaluate and plan the implementation of National IG by the central and regional governments, in line with the mandate of Government Regulation (PP) Number 45 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Geospatial Information.
The theme of the 2024 IG RAKORNAS is "Strengthening the Foundation for Holistic, Integrative and Sustainable Geospatial Information Transformation in the Context of Moving towards a Golden Indonesia". Then, the formulation related to the implementation of the National IG, which will be prepared in 2024, will be the foundation for supporting the 2025 - 2045 RPJPN in accordance with the RAKORNAS IG theme.
Furthermore, strengthening the foundation for IG transformation will be aligned with the 2025 – 2029 RPJMN Technocratic Plan.
In addition, the foundation in the next 5 years will be built through the provision of Basic Geospatial Information (IGD) at a scale of 1:5,000 to support the implementation of 310 K/L IGT themes, strengthening National IG governance, strengthening sharing mechanisms through JIGN, coordination of the implementation of National IGT at various levels of scale and priority, and transformation of the IG implementation framework which refers to UN-IGIF (United Nations - Integrated Geospatial Information Framework) as well as strengthening and developing IG human resources in K/L which are the backbone in the sustainable implementation of National IG.
The "Acceleration of Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth" which is prepared in the Government Work Plan for 2025 is the beginning of strengthening the foundational transformation for integration and synchronization of policies in the GI sector.
