Art Awd 2024: Prev Raih Rent
The East Kalimantan Provincial Government made a brilliant achievement at the end of 2024 by winning the Bhumandala Rajata (Silver) award in the 2024 Bhumandala Award. This award was given in recognition of the best Geospatial Information Network (IG) Node Performance, marking East Kalimantan as one of the superior provinces in the use of geospatial technology.
The Acting Governor of East Kalimantan, Akmal Malik, received this award at the Grand Studio Metro TV Jakarta. This year, East Kalimantan managed to move up the rankings after previously winning a bronze award, marking significant progress in geospatial information management.
The 2024 Bhumandala Award was organized by the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG), with 37 award recipients from various categories, including 7 Ministries/Institutions, 10 Provinces, 10 Regencies and 10 Best Cities. This award is concrete proof that East Kalimantan is considered superior in developing and applying geospatial technology to support development.
This success cannot be separated from the hard work of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, as Geospatial Data Supervisor, as well as collaboration with the East Kalimantan Diskominfo, which acts as the guardian of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government's sectoral and geospatial statistics data. The synergy between these various parties has resulted in proud achievements, encouraging East Kalimantan to continue to innovate in the development of geospatial technology.
This award is a motivation for the East Kalimantan Provincial Government to continue to innovate in the use of more sophisticated geospatial information technology to improve the quality of public services and support sustainable development.
