Facilitation of Draft Regional Head Regulations for the RKPD of Balikpapan City for 2022
Samarinda, 18 June 2021, 14.00 WITA. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province on this occasion held an online (virtual) agenda for facilitating draft regulations for the RKPD Regional Head of Balikpapan City for 2022. The event was opened by the Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM and also attended by the Secretary, Head of Division and Head of Sub-Division of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Regional Apparatus of the Government of East Kalimantan Province, and Bappeda of Balikpapan City (Head and all Heads of Division/Head of Sub-Division).
It was conveyed that the macro development targets in Balikpapan City in 2022 which had been agreed upon during the last Pre-Musrenbang were HDI of 80.00; Poverty Rate of 2.3 - 2.5%; Open Unemployment Rate of 8.7%; Economic Growth of 5.00%; and the Gini Index is 0.3.
Furthermore, the Regional Apparatus of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and all planning sectors in the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda took turns providing input and suggestions for improvement efforts.
It was also emphasized that the direction of Balikpapan City regional development policy needs to be aligned with the theme of the RKPD for East Kalimantan Province which has been prepared in the Final Draft RKPD for East Kalimantan Province for 2022 with the theme Structural Reform and Strengthening Regional Competitiveness in the Context of Welcoming IKN.
The Balikpapan City Government through the Balikpapan City Bappeda will readjust to the goals and targets contained in the 2019-2023 East Kalimantan RPJMD Amendment and complete the complete documents and all requirements in this facilitation activity. The result of this facilitation will be the Governor's letter regarding the results of the facilitation of the 2022 Balikpapan City RKPD Ranperkada which will be the basis for improving the Balikpapan City RKPD Ranperkada.
