Facilitating the Draft Changes in Samarinda 2025 RKPD Held, Encourage Economic Strengthening and HR
The Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of East Kalimantan Province (East Kalimantan) held a facilitation of the Draft Mayor Regulation on Changes in the Samarinda City Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) in 2025, Wednesday (6/8). This important event was held in the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda Propeda Meeting Room and also online through the Zoom Meeting.
In the presentation delivered by the Head of Division (Kabid) Planning and Evaluation Planning of Samarinda City Bapperida, Nadya Turisna, Samarinda City showed positive achievements on various macro indicators. The Samarinda City Human Development Index (HDI) continues to show an increase trend in the last five years, reaching 82.81 in 2024 and is above the average HDI of East Kalimantan Province and Indonesia. In addition, the poverty rate and open unemployment (TPT) in Samarinda City also decreased significantly in 2024, each to 4.30% and 5.75%. The economic condition of Samarinda City also continues to improve, reflected in the rate of economic growth which reached 8.66% in 2024. All development efforts are directed to realize the vision of "Samarinda Maju for East Kalimantan".
Comprehensive to the draft changes in the RKPD from the Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan and elements of regional apparatus related to the East Kalimantan Provincial Government. This input is crucial so that this regional development planning document is prepared in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 25 of 2004 and Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 86 of 2017.
