Facilitation of Draft Changes to RKPD Samarinda 2025 Held, Encouraging Strengthening of the Economy and Human Resources
The Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of East Kalimantan Province (Kaltim) held a Facilitation for the Draft Mayor's Regulation on Changes to the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) for the City of Samarinda for 2025, Wednesday (6/8). This important event was held in the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Propeda Meeting Room and also online via Zoom Meeting.
In the presentation delivered by the Head of the Planning, Control and Evaluation Division of Bapperida for Samarinda City, Nadya Turisna, Samarinda City showed positive achievements in various macro indicators. The Human Development Index (HDI) of Samarinda City continues to show an increasing trend in the last five years, reaching 82.81 in 2024 and is above the average HDI for East Kalimantan Province and Indonesia. Apart from that, the poverty rate and Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Samarinda City will also experience a significant decline in 2024, to 4.30% and 5.75% respectively. The economic condition of the City of Samarinda also continues to improve, reflected in the Economic Growth Rate which will reach 8.66% in 2024. All development efforts are directed at realizing the vision of "Advanced Samarinda for Advanced East Kalimantan". comprehensive plan for changes to the RKPD from elements of the Provincial Bappeda. East Kalimantan and related Regional Apparatus elements within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government. This input is crucial so that regional development planning documents are prepared in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 25 of 2004 and Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 86 of 2017.
