FGD Activities for Evaluation of Minimum Service Standards for the Social Sector in East Kalimantan Province
Bappeda East Kalimantan Province through the Head of Government and Human Development, Mr. Mispoyo facilitated the implementation of Focus Group Discussions (FGD) on the Implementation of the Major Project for Social Protection Reform and Evaluation of SPM in the Social Sector in 2024 which was carried out by the Directorate of Poverty Alleviation and Community Empowerment of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Wednesday (10/7).
The activity which was carried out in the East Kalimantan Bappeda Regional Police Meeting Room was attended by relevant Regional Apparatus within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, including the Social Service, BPBD, and the East Kalimantan Bappeda.
Focus Group Discussions were carried out in order to obtain information on the achievements and best practices of SPM for basic social services in East Kalimantan Province, both in terms of budgeting and implementation achievements of the targets set, and then also to evaluate the extent of the problems of implementing SPM in East Kalimantan Province.
The hope of carrying out these Focus Group Discussions is that they can gather various information related to the implementation of Social SPM in East Kalimantan. As an illustration, the achievement of East Kalimantan's SPM in 2023 is 79.9 percent, however the achievement specifically in the social sector has reached 100 percent and to date or in the second quarter for 2024 it has reached 99 percent.
