Cross-Regional Apparatus Forum in the Context of Preparing Regional Apparatus Plans and Strategic Plans: Sector II Building Quality Infrastructure
Samarinda (22/04/2025) - Today a "Cross Regional Apparatus Forum" was held as part of the preparation stages of the 2025–2029 Regional Apparatus Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) and 2026 Work Plan (RENJA).
This forum is a mandate from Law Number 25 of 2004 concerning the National Development Planning System and Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 86 of 2004 2017.
Held for two days, the first day of the forum (22/4) was divided into several themes with implementation in various locations according to the discussion sector. The theme of this meeting is "Building Quality Infrastructure".
The meeting on this theme was chaired directly by the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Yusliando, and attended by Commission III of the East Kalimantan Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), related Regional Apparatus Elements, the Successful East Kalimantan Transition Team Towards a Golden Generation, Association Elements, as well as representatives from district/city governments both online and offline.
A number of regional organizations delivered strategic presentations regarding infrastructure development in East Kalimantan:
1. The Department of Public Works, Spatial Planning and Public Housing (PUPR & PERA) conveyed their main output in supporting the fulfillment of Minimum Service Standards (SPM), increasing regional connectivity, food security and regional economic growth.
2. The East Kalimantan Provincial Transportation Service highlights the importance of increasing connectivity ratios and transportation safety throughout the province as a key driver of economic activity and community mobility.
3. The Department of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) outlined a strategy for equalizing and improving the quality of reliable and sustainable electricity infrastructure services.
4. The Department of Communication and Informatics (Diskominfo) raised the importance of equal distribution of digital infrastructure as a support for technological transformation and digital inclusion throughout East Kalimantan.
This forum is an important momentum in ensuring that the direction of East Kalimantan's infrastructure development policy is in line with the vision of the 2025–2030 RPJMD and supports the achievement of the vision of East Kalimantan Success Towards a Generation Gold.
