Inventory and consolidation of Sustainable Food Agricultural Land Data (LP2B) in Loa Janan District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency

Loa Janan, (4/08/2020). Head of Agriculture and Fisheries Sub-Sector Ir. Hj. Hidayanti Dharma, MP Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province together with staff carried out an inventory and consolidated data on Sustainable Food Agricultural Land (LP2B) in Loa Janan District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The aim of this activity is to verify/clarify whether the land is still rice fields or not and record conditions in the field.

Inventory data on Sustainable Food Agriculture land was carried out covering accesses 5, 6 and 7 with a total of 6 sampling points located around the road in KM. 3.5 road Samarinda - Balikpapan to Purwajaya village (KM. 5) Loa Janan subdistrict.

In general, Hidayanti said that Loa Janan District still has a lot of rice fields, especially around Purwajaya village, for this reason further coordination is needed with the Ministry of ATR/BPN to ensure the current area of ​​rice fields.

It should be noted that based on the Decree of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency number 686/2019 concerning Determination of the 2019 National Standard Rice Field Area, which then breaks down the National Rice Field Area by province, the area of raw rice field land in East Kalimantan is 41,406 hectares, while the area of standard rice field land in Kutai Kertanegara Regency is 18,659 hectares, Next, Loa Janan District is around 451 hectares.
