Public Consultation P-RPJMD Samarinda City in 2021-2026
Samarinda, (02/13/2023). Head of Regional Development Control and Evaluation Planning for Mr. Alfino Rinaldi. A, ST, M.E attended the Public Consultation on the Change of the Samarinda City RPJMD as a discussion at the Meeting Room of the Mangkupelas City Hall Samarinda.

This event was made by Samarinda Deputy Mayor, Mr. Rusmadi Wongso and was attended by all regional apparatuses in the scope of the Samarinda City Government, Camat, Academics, Business, and Stakeholders.

In his discussion Mr. Alfino said that Samarinda City has a strategic role in economic transformation efforts as a city of service and trade cities.

If viewed from macroeconomic conditions, as a service and trade center Samarinda has an important role for the economy of East Kalimantan with economic contributions in 2021 of 10.23%, based on LPE data in Samarinda in the year 2021 is at 2.76%, this figure is better than the provincial LPE which grew by 2.55%.

Mr. Alfino said that Samarinda City has created sustainable economic growth through development in the construction sector, trade sector, and the continuous manufacturing industry sector.

The positive trend of the Samarinda City economy needs to be maintained by prioritizing the growth of the economic sector in services, trade and industries that are in line with the East Kalimantan economic transformation effort.

Talking about the preparation of the Samarinda City P-RPJMD, Mr. Alfino emphasized a number of things that need to be a concern, especially on the determination of goals and objectives in the preparation of the Samarinda City P-RPJMD in 2021-2026 in order to remain accommodate the mandate of the fourth phase of the RPJPD, and sharpened to answer strategic issues and development problems, in addition to ensuring the relationship of performance cascading between P-RPJMD and PD Strategic Plan, as well as mapping performance crosscutting in the achievement of targets, then the formulation of indicators and performance targets is carried out in measurable and can be accounted for, by paying attention to the results of evaluation of implementation.

Furthermore, he said the determination of P-RPJMD was targeted in June 2023 to be a reference in the preparation of the Samarinda City RKPD in 2024.
