Public Consultation Initial Draft Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) of East Kalimantan Province in 2045
Samarinda, (02/20/2024) - The Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of East Kalimantan Province held a Public Consultation event to discuss the initial draft of the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) of East Kalimantan Province in 2025.
The speakers at the event include Mr. Yusliando, Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, who explained about "Initial Draft of the RKPD of East Kalimantan Province in 2025". Mr. Wisnu Hidayat representing Peipd, the Directorate General of Bina Bangda Ministry of Home Affairs, explained "Guidelines for the Preparation of RKPD in 2025". Mr. Anang Budi Gunawan representing Regional Director II, the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas, conveyed "the theme of national development priorities, as well as the direction of the East Kalimantan development policy in 2025". While Mr. Agustomi Masik, Director of Macro Planning Authority IKN, discussed "Synergy of IKN Development with East Kalimantan in 2025". The delivery session was facilitated by Mr. Erwiantono from Mulawarman University.
Public consultation participants consist of various parties, such as the East Kalimantan Provincial DPRD, East Kalimantan Provincial Government, Vertical Agencies, Regency/City Bappelitbang, Academics, Representatives of Community Leaders, BUMN, BUMD, Development Partners, and Media.
This Public Consultation aims to get advice and input from all regional development stakeholders as material for refinement of the initial draft of the RKPD of East Kalimantan Province in 2025.
The initial draft of the RKPD of East Kalimantan Province in 2025 has been prepared by taking into account the results of evaluating the implementation of development in 2023, development problems, as well as opportunities and challenges faced by the region. The development theme carried is "Optimization of economic diversification is supported by an increase in regional infrastructure and competitive human resources." This reflects the spirit to grow the regional economy without depending on the mining and excavation sectors.
After the material delivery session, followed by a discussion session and delivery of input from the participants. The event ended with the signing of the Minutes of the Agreement on the Results of Public Consultation. All agreements and input obtained from this consultation will be the basis for preparing the RKPD of East Kalimantan Province in 2025 better and responsive to the needs of the community and regional development.
